5. Putting Your Plan into Action:

Certified Employment Interview Professional (CEIP)

Created by Jay Block, this certification is offered through the Professional Association of Résumé Writers and Career Coaches (PARWCC) – the career industry’s leading résumé and career coaching association co-founded in 1990 by Jay Block. This is a home study certification with Jay Block presenting a live CEIP training program.

All roads lead to the interview and this powerful program teaches you innovative and proven techniques to help your clients win the interview and land the jobs they want at the pay they deserve – especially in highly competitive job markets.

Most interviews are nothing more than “meetings” between two parties to evaluate and determine if mutual value and fit exists. Employment interviews come down to three simple components:

1. Information – the “results” job candidates can produce that has value to prospective employers
2. Presentation – how job seekers present themselves and how well they “fit in” to an organization’s culture and how well they align with the organization’s values
3. Strategy – The tactical approach that is used to prepare for interviews as it relates to both Information and Presentation.
